# Confirm without an account

> Let partners confirm movements or positions using a secure link without full workspace access.

**Confirm Without Account** lets a partner respond to a confirmation from an email or secure link without joining as a full workspace user.

  Interface labels, screenshots, and step-by-step UI guidance in this article are pending verification against the live Palletlog application. Conceptual guidance below uses approved Palletlog terminology. Detailed UI steps will be added when product sources are confirmed.

## Outcome

Your partner can confirm or report a difference even if they do not yet have a Palletlog workspace.

## When to use this

* A customer or depot needs to confirm a handover quickly
* A partner is not ready to create their own workspace
* You need confirmation before balances can be treated as agreed

## Prerequisites

* Access to the [Palletlog dashboard](https://dashboard.palletlog.com)
* A movement, request, or confirmation ready to share
* A valid partner contact who can open the confirmation link

  If you do not have permission to complete an action in Palletlog, ask a workspace administrator to adjust your role or complete the task for you.

## Steps

    Confirm the movement or position details, including quantity, asset type, and any supporting proof.

    Start the confirmation flow for the partner who needs to respond. See [Request a confirmation](/confirmations-and-disputes/request-confirmation).

  <Step title="Share the secure link">
    Send the Confirm Without Account link through the product flow or the email the product generates.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Monitor the response">
    Watch for confirmation, a reported difference, or an expired link in the Attention Center or confirmation status.
  </Step>

## Expected result

The partner response updates confirmation status. Agreed quantities can support reconciliation; differences become disputes to resolve.

## Common mistakes

* Sending an outdated link after the confirmation expired — request a new confirmation
* Expecting guest confirmers to manage billing or workspace settings — Confirm Without Account is limited to the shared action
* Forgetting supporting proof when the partner needs evidence to agree
