# Asset Handover Chain

> Trace sequential handovers of reusable assets across carriers and partners.

The **Asset Handover Chain** links successive handovers so teams can see where accountability sits when quantities diverge.

## Outcome

You can follow a chain of handovers related to a movement, confirmation, or dispute and identify where supporting proof is missing.

## Why it matters

Reusable assets often pass through more than one organization:

When a difference appears, the chain helps separate warehouse, carrier, and partner responsibility using movements, confirmations, and **Supporting proof**.

## Prerequisites

* Access to the [Palletlog dashboard](https://dashboard.palletlog.com)
* A movement or dispute that involves more than one handover
* Permission to view related partners and proof
